Creative Ways To Get Your Offer Noticed By Portland Home Owners

By Katie Bain

PORTLAND, Ore. – There’s no
denying that the Real Estate market is HOT right now and with a shortage of
rentals combined with historically low mortgage interest rates it’s not
uncommon for Portland Home Owners to
receive multiple offers for their homes.

Thankfully, every home buyer
can make their offer stand out by using a little creativity.  Portland Home Owners don’t just accept an
offer because it’s the most money, sometimes an owner will accept an offer
because they like or can relate to the home buyer.

Using
Pizza To Buy A Home

Here in Portland, we
recently saw a real life example of a home buyer using creativity to buy a home
when Johnny Barrett, part of the DiNicola family, who owns the famous DiNicola
Italian Restaurant, used free pizza for life, and also the offer of a free 60
day rent back when he submitted his offer to a Portland homeowner.

The offer of 60 days free
rent back was too good to pass up, but the offer of free pizza was also the
incentive that sweetened the deal and led the owner to say yes to his offer.

2
Months Inventory In Portland

Right now Portland Oregon
has about 2 months-worth of home inventory and that means properties are
selling FAST.

Portland
Homeowners Want To See This

If you plan on submitting
an offer to a Portland Home Owner in the coming months make sure your offer is
creative, original and will help the owner to get a real good idea of who you
are and why you want to buy their home.

Don’t be afraid to write
about your family or compliment the owner on their decorating style.  These things will all be helpful in getting
your offer on a Portland home to stand out among many others during a busy Real
Estate market.
