Why Is Staging Your Portland Oregon Home So Important?

By Katie
Bain

You’re
getting ready to sell your Portland Oregon Home, but have you staged it to
sell?

If you’re
not familiar with why staging a home to sell is important, here are four
reasons why you should stage your home before you start showing your home to
buyers.

#1 – Creates a Product Which
Can Be Sold

Staging
enables you to present your home as a “product” which has to be sold and helps
you to remove any personal attachment that you may have with your home that
could get in the way of helping you sell it quickly.

#2 – Helps You to Really
“Know” Your Home

During
the process of staging your home to sell it you may be run into potential
problems or repair issues which you will be able to fix, or resolve, before you
list your home on the Real Estate market.

#3 – Removes the Clutter

Another
benefit which comes from home staging is that you will be able to finally
remove the clutter from your home which accumulated during the years which
you’ve lived there.

Tip – When dealing with
clutter make sure that you box up any unused items and neatly place those boxes
in your garage or storage so they will be out of view from home buyers.

#4 – Sells Your Home Faster

Thanks to
the American Association of Property Scene Designers we know that a staged home
sells 43% faster than homes which have not been staged.

The
National Association of Exclusive Buyers Agents (NAEBA) also recently confirmed
that over 80% of home buyers will fall in love with a staged home versus a home
which has not been staged.
