One of the top questions people have when visiting Portland is “Where are the best beer bars in Portland Oregon?” and this is a good question to have considering the fact that Portland is one of the top cities in the United States for craft brewing.
In today’s post I will cover 3 of the top local pubs in Portland Oregon so you know what bars to visit on your next trip here.
APEX
Location – 1216 SE Division St.
This is one of the best beer bars in Portland Oregon because, they have 50 amazing beers on tap and plenty of places to sit, especially during the evening hours when you can grab a picnic table outside or sit inside with your friends to watch the game on the Apex flat screen TV.
Besides offering lots of great beer for you to try, Apex also offers cool features like an antique cash register plus great music.
If you’re thinking about visiting Apex during the dinner hour, the Apex staff will let you grab some food from many of the local establishments including: Los Gorditos and or Double Dragon.
Tip – Always BRING CASH when you visit Apex because, even though they are one of the best beer bars in Portland Oregon, they don’t accept cards at the bar and you will have to use their onsite ATM for that.
BAILEYS TAPROOM
Location – 213 S.W. Broadway
Bailey’s Taproom is another great beer bar to visit especially since like Apex they have a laid back attitude and don’t mind if you bring your own food.
Yes, there’s also an impressive selection of beers at Bailey’s including 24 top West Coast Beers and an eclectic selection of beers including close to 200 bottles of delicious sour beer which has been barrel aged.
BAZI BIERBASSERIE
Last of all is Bazi Bierbasserie.
Located at 1522 SE 32nd Ave in Portland, this establishment is also one of the best beer bars in Portland because they have a great selection ,which includes close to 20 specialty taps which are devoted mostly to Belgian beers.
Bazi Bierberbasserie has an impressive atmosphere, which makes you feel like you’re visiting a beer bar in Europe especially when you settle in to watch a Timbers Match with the sometimes rowdy fans who like to hang out there.
