Should You Love Your Portland Home Or List It?

By Katie Bain

One of my favorite Real Estate television shows is Love It or List It.

The show features couples who are faced with the decision of changing things about their home in order to love it or to simply sell it instead and find a new home that meets their current needs.

If you’ve been thinking about selling your Portland home and aren’t sure if this is the right decision for you to make here are 3 reasons why you should sell your Portland Home during 2015.

1 – Low Inventory and High Demand

As with 2014 we still are facing an inventory problem in Portland, and that’s actually a good thing for you, since there will be more buyers and potentially more offers on your home.

2 – Great Mortgage Interest Rates

With mortgage interest rates hovering around 4% or lower, there’s never been a better time for people to buy Portland Homes and this means good news for you since there will be more buyers on the market with financing to buy homes than in usual market conditions.

3 – Sell While the Market Is Hot

Just about every economist expects the Real Estate market to stay hot through 2015.

Why not sell your home now while home values are strong instead of waiting another year, when it is unknown what the home market will be like then?

About EquityPoint Real Estate
